First Wednesdays @FPC

This fall, we will be having Wednesday Night Dinner and Devotion on the 1st Wednesday evening of the month. Dinner will be at 6pm, with Devotion in the Sanctuary at 6:45pm. The cost for dinner will be $10 for adults and $5 for children (under 12) with $30 family maximum. Mark your calendars now for Oct. 2, Nov. 6, and Dec. 4. We will also have Thanksgiving Dinner & Worship on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Following our First Wednesday Dinner on Sept. 4, we will gather on the front steps for a Carillon Concert and Dedication of the Steeple Light. Pat Sherman gave this light in memory of Rev. Neil Sherman. Neil and Pat returned to Farmington, their home church, after he retired from ministry, and he continued to faithfully serve here. Neil believed deeply in reaching out and being in relationship win the community and shared Christ’s love and light in his life. It is fitting to honor his memory in this way, and we are thankful that this light will be a beacon to the community for years to come.
