Last Sunday, we began inventorying our spiritual closets. What do we have? What do we need? So that we can clothe ourselves with compassion, gut-felt mercy, kindness, with no harshness or bitterness, humility, remembering that we are ALL children of God, meekness, strength and power under God’s control, and patience, slow to reach the boiling point of anger. All five traits allow us to bear with one another, to live together, and what makes the outfit – what brings it all together – the belt that holds it all together – love.
